Goodbye Orhtah.

Hello dear readers, I'm here to bring a piece of sad news...

One of the Panda brothers, Orh tah, passed away. It hurts to watch him suffer. I watched him silently as each and every breath he took was like something only meant for the strong and not him. Hours passed, I began to accept the fact that he will leave soon yet I still held a tiny hope that he will recover like how he did the previous time.. Sadly, he never did. Before he left, he managed to drag himself along the clean bedding for a few centimetres and then he was gone.. It was as though he was trying to reach out to his brother and me. I stared at the lifeless body waiting for a small twitch of the nose or the heavy breathing but all I got was... nothing. Even though I knew this would be the outcome, I still can't bring myself to accept that he's gone. My heart shattered into millions of pieces..

I headed for bed, hoping that sleep would take away the misery and that when I wake up the next day, he would be up and about running around the carrier. I was trying so hard to deceive myself and in the end, I broke down. Even though it was less than 2 months that I had spent with him and his brother, the time we spent playing was priceless. I'm still able to recall vividly the first time I saw him and his other siblings at Cheryl's house. They all looked so alike and differentiating them was such a chore but somehow fate brought us together and so he became mine. Initially he was afraid of me but as time passes, he grew closer to me and would sniff my entire forearm with his tweeny weeny little nose each time I place my hand into the cage.

Basically, I couldn't sleep well for the whole night and I kept having dreams that he's still alive and running happily around the cage but when I woke up the next day and I checked on him, he was still lying there, motionless. It was a cold hard fact, he will not take another breath again. :(

Somehow, I'm surprised that I'm not that affected. Probably because I've comforted myself countless of times that he would be in a better place with no suffering and pain? Sigh, whatever it is, I will remember you, my little one. R.I.P and may God have mercy on your tiny soul.

R.I.P, Orhtah, left us on 23rd November 2008.

Hello readers. Lol, hopefully there are still people reading. :P Sorry for not updating for quite awhile. Anyway, there has been somemore addition to the hamster family. Maxi gave birth to a second batch of babies whereas I have two out of three of the first batch. I've named them Fishball & Sotongball. :D Their genders are not known yet as they are still pretty young. It'll take another 2-3 weeks before their organs are much more clearer. Anyway, they're pretty shy and still hasn't gotten used to me yet. Hopefully they will after some time.. Like their daddy, XJ. :)

The two panda brothers aren't doing that well though. First Orhtah was a little ill and he became so small and skinny compared to Chaotah who was pretty fat. But now it's Chaotah's turn to be ill. :( I'm worried sick about those boys. Sigh.. Chaotah's a little slower than usual and his fat bulge seems to be a little smaller. Boys, get well soon k!

For Nissa, she's doing very very well compared to any other hamsters. She's growing bigger and even more playful. She even crawls out from her cage to wander around the house but with me keeping an eye on her of course. :D She's very loving recently, by allowing me to cuddle her and kiss her. She even looked me in the eye quite a few times. Lovely lady. Hahaha.

Many additions to the pet family!

Hola to fellow readers! From now on this blog would not be just about Nissa the Stinkypoo princess but it'll be about a pair of Panda breed hamster brothers called Chaotah and Orhtah and plus hammies babies that XJ and Maxi produced. :)

First of all, Nissa has grown quite big but not as fat as those hamsters seen in some pet shops. She's of healthy range! :) Really pretty and fussy lady. She loves all the treats I've gotten for the hams, for example her favourite would be the Pumpkin biscuit. Hahaha. Whenever the packet is opened and she smells the biscuit, she would be peeking through the cage as if eager to munch on it. Haha.

The two panda brothers are doing well, running about actively and annoying the crap outta Nissa but I suppose she's getting used to those little rascals. Lol. Honestly, they stink worse than Nissa and the mess they made was far more scarier than that Stinkypoo. Furthermore, I really don't like their attitudes, always biting my fingers. Nissa doesn't even bite me anymore! Zzz, those two little fellas must be disciplined someday. But I enjoy disturbing them by going "BOO!" whenever they are noseying around the cage. Hahaha. :P

Next, Maxi and XJ has two baby robos so far(according to Mari) and I'm really happy that XJ finally can be a daddy! xD I'm a little sad cause that means more workload, more responsibility and more cash pumped into the pet supplies, oh well.. We chose to let them breed, so yeah. Haha. :) Mari and I ARE RESPONSIBLE OWNERS unlike some people out there.. They just irks me and I feel like kicking them in the nuts/arses to make them understand that pets are not toys but friends that need our care and concern. Get that, you losers out there. :)

And congrats to Mari for getting ~~Tomi~~/Lavi the white bunny. She's really happy about it and yeah, I think he's cute too as long he doesn't poop or pee on me that is. I'll probably scream my head off if it pee-ed on me! Lol! Alright, a few photos to keep this boring blog interesting and lively! More updates next time! :)

My dear readers, my dearest godson, Ciaowii has left us on 20th September 2008. :'( Please pray for his soul, one minute of silence. Sigh. I couldn't even see him for one last time. Suddenly, I felt the pain in my heart, though it wouldn't be as much as Mari's but it still kinda hurt. I have the urge to cry. I'm worried for Bubu, just hope that he'll live on as per normal. It's gonna be a little quiet in the Gerbils' tank now that Ciaowii's gone. But I'm sure he's watching us from above, safe from any harm. :(

It just hit me, what if Nissa were to leave me all of a sudden one day? Would I be too upset to cry? Or would I break down into tears and refuse to let her body be disposed of? I really wonder, but I don't wish for that day to come anytime soon. I don't want to lose my dearest Stinkypoopoo. No. I don't mind giving up luxury to keep her with me forever. Although she's naughty at times, but I know she loves me as much as I do. I can't imagine life without her, not having some nosey little thing to stick her nose out at the cage to greet me whenever I return home at night. Yes, she greets me just like a doggy would to the owner. She's lovely and unique in her own ways. I may not be rich and it takes time for me to save up to get her certain things, yet I give her the best.

Nissa, mommy really loves you.

Ciaowii, godma's gonna miss you. May God bless your soul and may you rest in peace.

HOLA HOLA! Finally I've managed to force myself down to giving the readers of this blog a proper update rather than to keep you all waiting. :) First of all, Nissa the Stinkypoopoo is doing very well and I've just changed her bedding a few hours ago and she's as hyper as before, running around in that ball while I was cleaning her cage. Her appetite has grown and she's starting to eat more than she used to, is that good or bad? Anyway, she's growing healthily, getting fatter I suppose? Lol. She has also gotten noisier than before, gnawing on her cage more often in the wee hours, trying to get my attention and only stopping when I take her out to play. :D

Ok, and you guys must be curious, who's the little guy that has joined the hammie's family? His name is Xiao Jun(Little Handsome) and he's a Roborovski but he's just a normal Robo, not the white faced breed. He officially joined the family on 14th August alongside with another male and female robos as companions. :)

Let me describe this new addition to the family to all the readers. At first sight, he's just like any other robos, but after looking at him, you'll see the difference, he has ears that are so big that they made him stood out among his companions. Among the three robos, he has smaller eyes than the rest and that's another way to differentiate him. He's roughly about 1 month plus old and according to Mari, he's a greedy little guy who runs straight to the food bowl whenever she changes the food and stuffs as much as he could into his pouch. Haha. Adorable little thing. :)

Initially, he's afraid of getting touched by us and slight movements of the hand could scare him out of his wits and send him scampering off to the other end of the cage. Lol. Slowly, he's gotten used to human touch and has calmed down whenever he's being taken out of the cage. He's very energetic, like all robos are and he's always running about, sniffing the clothes and everything. He would poop once in awhile and that can be very annoying at first but you'll gradually get used to it and he'll stop pooping once he's used to you. Lastly, he likes to cuddle with his companions and sometimes he would fall asleep on my lap with my hands shielding him from the light. :DD

Next up would be XJ's companions, Luna and Maxi. They both belong to Mari. Luna is the smallest and youngest out of the three and he has only 3 legs. But that doesn't make him any slower than the rest, to be honest, XJ's the slowest out of them. HAHA, eat too much I guess? :P Luna's a little of the scaredy cat and tends to run non-stop when he's taken out and placed on the hand, he doesn't rest like the other two robos. He's has a face that can be recognised straight when you look at him cause he's a little mixed from the white-faced family. He likes to squeeze in between the other two robos and he's also a little busybody, always noseying around but that makes him so lovable. He likes to sniff Maxi but is always getting rejected by her and then he would run off to find his best pal, XJ. Hahaha. Being a 3-legged hammie makes him cute too, because of the way he hobbles around and climbing up the ladder. I believe he will grow to be like any other normal hamsters. :)

Lastly, Maxi the only female robo out of the three. She's a tough little hammie but she's got a weak spot when it comes to protecting the other two guys. She's roughly about the same age as XJ and she has bigger eyes than XJ and her ears have veins that are abit more visible. She gets scared easily too and would run away when she sees your hand coming in to the cage but the funny thing is, when she's in your hands, she just let you pat her and stroke her fur without struggling. Lol. But she can't be let down onto the ground as she would dash off in the blink of an eye. She's a little of the big sister type and the other two males would hide behind her when they sense danger. And when the other two guys are taken out to play, she would go off to some place and just sleep. She's able to sleep anywhere, as long she's comfortable and feel safe. :)

Apologies to all dear readers of Nissa. Her blog would be on hiatus till probably after 21st August. Anyhow, there has been an addition to the hammie's family, she has a brother, a Robo breed though. His name would be revealed when I'm back after exams. Sorry for any disappointment. Hehe. :) Thanks for your kind understanding.

Hello to all. First of all, I would like to apologise for not updating Nissa's blog for so long. Lol, been kinda busy lately and also partly due to my laziness that I've been procrastinating about updating her blog. If she even understands this, she's gonna say,"Mommy, you're so lazy! Let me blog myself la!" Hahahaha. Oh well. Anyway, she's putting on weight and growing bigger.. So that's a good sign of healthy growing hamster, right? Haha. Btw, when I tried cleaning her cage two weeks ago, she escaped from the ball and ran towards me.. Awwh, she didn't even attempt to run away into the holes. Sweet little girl, eh? Haha...

She's so cute yet very messy. It's tiring and troublesome just cleaning up the cage. Roar! Nissa, mommy loves you so much that seeing you happy just makes all those cleaning worthwhile. :) Mommy wants to get you a boyboy to play with and hopefully, you'll accept him and love him with your heart and hahahha, bear cute little grandchildren for mommy. Hehehe. :P So then you won't be lonely in that huge cage of yours anymore. Be good k, mommy will be busy for this few weeks and after that, mommy will spend more time with you. People, don't worry.. No matter how busy I get, I'll still change her food, water, bathing sand and take a few minutes to just take her out and let her run around on my hands.. Hahaha. Just that after exams, I'll spend even more time with her.. Haha, probably bring her out to look for a suitable boyboy. :D

Alohaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! :) Nissa's mommy is here to update the readers. Heh. Past few days were super fun for Nissa, another huge adventure for the little princess Stinkypoopoo. Hahaha. :P

Finally moved her into her big and pink "palace", which has three levels to it and has so much room that she's practically messing up the whole place as if to let the whole world know that's her territory and only she has access to it. Hahaha. She's been pooping all over the cage which I don't really like seeing the scene of it all. Ugh. It'll be really niggling when the time comes for the cleaning up of the cage and also, changing of bedding and stuffs. Gaaaah, I bet I'm gonna need more than half an hour to do all the cleaning stuffs...

Ah well, that's what being a responsible owner should do to ensure that their pets are well-taken care of right? Haha. Furthermore, I wouldn't want my little princess to fall sick due to the unhygienic environment if I were to be lazy and not change her bedding and clean her cage properly... Lol. Anyhow, just two days ago, there was confusion as to whether she's really a female or a male.. Ok, confused? Let me explain then...

It kinda happened while I was playing with her, when I noticed that she has a thing at her privates. It looked like... a peeeeeeenis. Lol. So yea, and I thought I had seen wrongly on the day I got her from Haojie.. And because of that, I was confused about her gender, wondering whether I should call her a "he" or a "she". I even had to resort to calling "it"! Omg, I just felt so bad for that two days..

Thoughts ran through my mind, like what should I call her if she turned out to be a male? Lol.. I didn't want to change the name cause by then she would have gotten used to the name, Nissa. Haha. So yea, it was kinda nerve-wrecking but somehow, a decision was made, no matter what gender it is, I'll still love it like before and it'll still be my little precious Stinkypoopoo. Haha. :)

Sooooo... I brought her to the petshop today while at the same time accompanied Nissa's Uncle M to get "his" gerbils. Lol. And guess what? The aunty told me....that... Nissa's..... a GIRL! YAY! Hahaha. Now I can continue calling her "Meimei" and "Princess".. Haha. -grins- :) Haha, what a blur mommy she has.. :P Oh well, I'm planning to get her more stuffs like another running wheel to be installed at the bottom level of the cage, that means she'll have to running wheels. I might get her another companion too, so then she wouldn't be that lonesome in sucha huge mansion. Haha.

Plus, now she has two godbrothers, Ciaowii and Bubu. They are both M's gerbils and they are huge, compared to Nissa. Hahaha.. Although I'm like their godma, I'm scared to touch them cause I don't like rodents with long tails. Eeek, freaks me out. Haha. :P Too bad. Ok, time for eye candies, photos!!! WOOLALA~ Bye!

Hola hola! All fellow readers of Nissa's blog, her mommy's here to update again! Heh. Do you guys miss her or anything? She's doing fine, eating well, very active at times but sleeping most of the time. Hahaha.. She's gotten used to my scent and doesn't nibble on my fingers anymore. What a good girl she is, right? Hehe. :)

Owners should take their hamsters out to play with them more often, to let them get used to your scent so that they wouldn't bite you or what.. If they do, hit their mouth gently and say in a firm tone,"No!" .. They'll listen and not bite again. :D Hehe, try it! Remember, not too hard though!

Btw, Alvin's getting the 3 storeys high cage for Nissa tomorrow! Yaaaaaaay! Alvin, you rocks la! Hahahahaha. Thanks man! :DD Nissa will be sooo darn happy can. :) Okok, photos for you guys! Update soon! Bye!

Hehe. Finally, a personal blog for my little precious princess/Stinkypoopoo, Nissa. :D Too bad the URL of nissa.bs.com was taken, else I would have straight away used that. Haha, oh well.. Meganissa isn't that bad right? :) I'm gonna make full use of this blog to post Stinkypoopoo's photos and update her godmamas, godpapas, godsisters, godbrothers, godaunts, goduncles how she's doing. :D

Alrightey, first post. I brought Stinkypoopoo to school today and yea, as usual.. she was basking in the attention of the on-lookers.. Graaaah, I wish I was her so I could have that much attention too. Hahaha.. Oh well.. :P Anyway, sneaked her into the lab for Excel lessons and Ms Chua actually didn't noticed her. Hallelujah. Haha. :) Elwin was like so crazy over her.. Kept taking her out to play with her right? Haha... See, told you guys Nissa's so irresistable. Lol. She just kinda slept throughtout that few hours and whenever I went over to Elwin's table to look at her, she would tend to wake up.. I guess she could smell her mommy huh? Haha.. :)

During lecture, for fear of her feeling too cold, borrowed M's bag and used my crumpler to cover the sides of the cage. Haha, and she was so comfy in her bedding.. Looked so cute when she was sleeping. :) After lessons, ended.. M and I went to Thomson Plaza to look for her gerbil's food and she bought mealworms for her gerbils but she fed Nissa one of it and I guess Nissa did like it huh? Haha.. But I was too grossed out to even touch it.. Argh. :\ And and and, I took Nissa out and let her crawled all over me.. She was running so fast that it was kinda hard to catch her.. Haha, naughty little poopoo. xD

Aye, anyway.. she's back at that spot of hers and she's sleeping soundly right now.. Probably a huge adventure for her today. Haha.. I can't wait for that 3 storey high cage for her.. I bet she's gonna be so friggin' happy. YAYYYYYYYYY! :DDD Lucky girl. Alrightey, time to go now.. Updates soon! Anyway, enjoy the photos! ;D
